Just a little hint for everyone: If you ask your produce manager at your grocery store to please stock dandelion greens, I'm sure he would be happy to comply. Once they get put on the shelf and other people besides you buy them, it makes it easier for him to order them in the future.

I found some at my local whole foods market too, just yesterday! I was so excited as well, lol. I was thinking I was going to have to wait until spring to pick some from my yard!

I spent so much time and effort ridding my lawns of this plant. Choking it out with more seed every year.

Now in the wild west I'm buying 2 pounds of it a week for the children. Yummy.

I just came back from a hike with my German Shepard, and collected a trash bag full, Tortoises, and lizards are now having a party at my house.

I even stopped off at petsmart ( where I got Tuxy) and gave them some. They were also nice enough to take back all the recommended items ( but bad for russians) I bought when I got Tuxy and he got his new power sun :). I love that I only need one light fixture up.

Your local food shoppeery should sell a variety of greens,mustard,turnip.
Of coourse it helps to grow your own
