Willie has a lot of caked on dirt from his year of dryness. I have been soaking him a couple times a week pending weather. I have gently brushed his shell and stuff with a soft toothbrush. Any other ideas to help break down the built up. The hind end is really black and well the brush is not enjoyed much..lol

Lol...so not what I thought this thread was going to be about...lol:shy:

I would say to try to soak him longer and keep the water warm...then brush a bit...then put back in for a bit more of a soak....:D

The soaks are working but he only gets like 2 a week because of the weather. He is outside and I've been soaking inside so I can keep the water warm. If the outside air is cool I shy away... Remember it's the first soaks in his little6 yr life...
