Do tortoise's dream?

Anyone know the answer to this? lol

I was just watching tv and i heard a little squeak come out of Buster and i looked in and he's sleeping.

So i was just wondering if it is a dream or is it something else?

haha.. tortoise sleeptalking? when my tortoise wakes up he squeeks once in a while. but hmm I never heard about tortoises having dreams.

I wouldn't be surprised. We joke our shell baby is "chasing lettuce" in his dreams, like dogs chase squirrels or whatever. hehe He'll twitch while napping, and yes we hear little noises too. It would be cool if someone found a study on animal brain waves while sleeping.

Yeah i like to think of when my tortoise squeeks when he sleeps its like one of my dogs having a dream and they would make noises lol.

hahahahaha this made me laugh outloud.. mine does the same and my husband and i joke around sayin that he's out partying, and fist pumping jersey style because he moves his right arm usually when he sqeeks while sleeping. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh I love to watch him all day

I have read an article about the study done by the researchers at Massachusettss Institute of Technology that animal has a complex dreams and able to retains and recall long sequnces of events while they are asleep.Studies show that animal's brains follow same series of sleeping states as ours do.
