My leopard eggs, when laid were very round, like a ping pong ball. The one hatchling I have so far, egg was oblong when I found the hatchling, obviously oblong. The egg of the same clutch, that hasn't hatched yet and very empty looking is still round like the day it was laid.
My other two clutches, were also laid very round, and now some have become oblong and look like something is developing, while others are still round and empty looking.
Have any of you noticed this? Specially with leopards eggs? Is this very unusual?
My next clutch is due to hatch this month and the last clutch in January. Out of 9 eggs each clutch, there are two in each that are oblong and two more each clutch that are starting to change shape, looking knlky slightly oblong. I'm hoping this is an easy early sign of those that are ready to hatch and the round ones will be the slow to hatch, if at all.
