They look ok to me, but the angle of the picture makes it look like there's a swelling up above the nostrils. You can get a small squirt bottle filled with saline solution and give each nostril a firm squirting. If there's anything in there it will be squirted into his mouth (the nostrils go into the roof of the mouth).
