I fought and did what I could with Domino, but he passed away last week. I don't know what I could have done different with him, but I know I'm trying my best with the three I have left.

Part of me feels responsible for him getting the RI....

I had the substrate WAY too wet without realizing it.

He was by far my favorite, and loved to interact when outside. The other three play around and could care less about my existence. Domino always liked to walk away and come back to me. :-(

I am sorry. Don't blame yourself too much, just use what you've learned to better things for the others. We are all constantly learning with these guys.

I'm so sorry for your loss. How did he pass on? I think I must have missed another thread where you talked about him being sick!!!

I'm so sorry too. It is never easy when you lose one.

The hatchlings are usually not very interactive. But they do get more social as they get bigger and realize that you control the food. Our bigger hatchlings hve finally seen the light and realize that I am the bringer of food. It is cute to see their little faces looking up and waiting.

Respiratory infection. I had taken him to the vet. He had two full rounds of baytril shots and was on eye cream. He was getting better and then all of a suddened worsened.

I'm hoping they will turn soon. Ha. After I moved them into a bigger covered enclosure; they've started closing their eyes more. They open them after a soak or good spray. They are all still eating fine, so I'm keeping an eye on them. They seem like their doing well, though.
