Is it a good idea to give my RT dry food found in pet stores,is it good for them if it is how much should I give it to him a week?

I'm not a fan of manufactured diets for tortoises. I think its always best to feed them weeds and grasses from outside. Second choice is grocery store greens.
Having said that, I DO use a bit of Mazuri every now and then. Mazuri Tortoise Diet, that is. I feed it once a week to my Aldabran tortoises so that I can offer them supplemental vitamins and minerals that they don't get from just grazing.
