I sometimes feel the same with squirt and it does make me nervous so I totally get where you’re coming from! Best advise I can give is do to the soaks as often as you’re able to do them.i'm worried she is holding it all off until she gets soaked!! once, I didn't soak her for more than a week and she still didnt poop. That reminds me, I will soak her tomorrow!
get yourself some good soil and a growing tray, fill some of the tray with soil(about 3/4 full) and spread the seeds across as evenly as you can, the more room they have to grow the better, so use multiple trays if needed(if you’re wanting to grow individual plants for future harvest, give each seed an inch or two from the other so they’ll be easier to re pot)then cover the seeds with a thinner layer of soil(not so thin you can still see the seeds, but not too thick)place the tray in front of a window.I also bought some seeds off tortoise supply. any tips on growing them?
For the following weeks you want to make sure it’s staying nice and damp(not waterlogged though! Get ones with drainage holes but place the tray on something to catch the water, if the soil is feeling nice and moist all through, just a spray on top will do! If you feel it drying out, give a light pour) some seed trays come with a plastic covers you can lift on and off to lock in the moisture, or just cover with clingfilm, once you see them start to sprout to a decent size, keep the cover off, then congratulations you’ve created some yummy micro greens for her!
To then get individual ones to grow to a bigger size, you need to get them into individual growing pots with deeper soil, continuing to baby them whilst they’re small, once more established, some do better outside
