i'm worried she is holding it all off until she gets soaked!! once, I didn't soak her for more than a week and she still didnt poop. That reminds me, I will soak her tomorrow!
I sometimes feel the same with squirt and it does make me nervous so I totally get where you’re coming from! Best advise I can give is do to the soaks as often as you’re able to do them.
I also bought some seeds off tortoise supply. any tips on growing them?
get yourself some good soil and a growing tray, fill some of the tray with soil(about 3/4 full) and spread the seeds across as evenly as you can, the more room they have to grow the better, so use multiple trays if needed(if you’re wanting to grow individual plants for future harvest, give each seed an inch or two from the other so they’ll be easier to re pot)then cover the seeds with a thinner layer of soil(not so thin you can still see the seeds, but not too thick)place the tray in front of a window.
For the following weeks you want to make sure it’s staying nice and damp(not waterlogged though! Get ones with drainage holes but place the tray on something to catch the water, if the soil is feeling nice and moist all through, just a spray on top will do! If you feel it drying out, give a light pour) some seed trays come with a plastic covers you can lift on and off to lock in the moisture, or just cover with clingfilm, once you see them start to sprout to a decent size, keep the cover off, then congratulations you’ve created some yummy micro greens for her!

To then get individual ones to grow to a bigger size, you need to get them into individual growing pots with deeper soil, continuing to baby them whilst they’re small, once more established, some do better outside🙂

You can indeed if you’re keeping the soil separate from her😊and yes absolutely! Just spread them out as much as you can cause I’ve noticed when they’re crowed together, they can sometimes strangle each others roots

Hi! I think nothing can be done with the loose skin. Maybe time and good care will do their thing. She doesn't feel any discomfort, I guess.

I think one day when you’re financially able, I’d try and seek out a really good tortoise vet to get their opinion on this, but for what it’s worth, I don’t think it’s anything of urgent concern🙂

i'm just worried it is liquid... though it's good i don't think she feels any pain. i'll do what @Littleredfootbigredheart said and wait until i can take the hit (to the wallet) for a good vet. you don't have any ideas of how a high schooler can earn money right 😢 my parents won't allow a part time job. i'm doing freelance art right now.

It looks fine to me. See if your tortoise will eat it.
i looked up these on the tortoise table and a lot were orange, and tatsoi apparently has "goitrogens". is this safe to feed, a handful every day, until my tortoisesupply seeds grow?

A small handful every other day should be fine with the usual stuff you feed😊

Maybe not every day, since multiple plants in this mix have goitrogens.

it's been really chilly lately (low 40s, high 60s) she hasn't gone outside in a month+. How can I let her exercise?

what types of food can i feed her more often (close to every day) while i wait for her seeds to grow?
There’s plenty of lettuce types you can technically feed every day as they’re mainly water, but obviously not much nutritional value so I’d add some other bits🙂

does anyone know how long it'll take for the tortoise supply testudo mix to grow? and be edible?

she peed today. i only see small, very little egg white like consistency urate. i haven't seen bigger urates in a week.

she pooped twice today, two small lumps. dark green, kind of soft. few days ago, she pooped lots, and it was hard and darker green (near black) which i assume is good. is this softer poop okay, and are the less often (and REALLY small) urates a cause for concern?

You should see sprouts within a couple of weeks🙂you’ll have to wait longer if you want more established plants though

that all sounds ok, I wouldn’t be worried at present😊
