You can feed it as often as you want. Protein is not super high in plantain (comparing to legumes, for example) with fiber/protein ratio being better in older, larger leaves.

hi! can i feed her cucumber every day? I soak her twice a week usually. for like 30 min, water is 80-90 degrees.

i've been smashing cucumbers into her food because i don't see her drink from her bowl. I dont think she likes it? i'm not very sure haha...

You can, but you don't have to. Soakings and available fresh water are enough. She can get some water from her foods too (and you can spray water over greens as well). My primary concern here is that she will eat cucumbers leaving out anything else.

They are too far from the light. That is called, "getting leggy". They are stretching and using all their energy to get more light.
Other than that they look fine.

If your tortoise will graze them from the bowl, this is fine, but if you want them to become big enough for you to tear a couple leaves off to feed to her, it won't happen when planted like this. The plants are crowded and will get side-tracked into competing for space when this close together, and don't grow big.

I don't know about the first plant, possibly some Brassicaceae similar to something like summer mustard (Hirschfeldia incana).

I think the second plant might be Purple thistle (Cirsium horridulum). It is not on the tortoise table, but they have creeping thistle listed as safe to feed:

If you don't get an answer on this thread, it maybe worth posting in the plant ID section.

Update: still have not seen a SINGLE poop in her enclosure. just rummaged around today.

her hide is 60 humidity, 70 at night.

the plants are growing well. some managed to grow in her enclosure, i must have spilled some seeds seeing as they're all in the same area. she likes the weeds, cleaned her plate when i gave her some.

A few days ago when I soaked her, I DID NOT see any urates. Poop was normal, she pooped a normal amount too. I wasn't there to see her poop so I'm not sure if she struggled to push or not. Still, I wonder where the hell her poops go, even when I don't soak her for a week!! I only see her poops when she soaks!! very strange. (Anyone know why?)

her meals lately are something similar to this. I've begun to include some of the testudo mix. she finishes it all. I peel the cucumber.

When i am too busy (Ex: at school for too long, cannot soak her because it's nighttime), I give her extra cucumber for hydration and some romaine lettuce with her testudo mix. I'm not sure if this is alright but it made sense in my head.

still worried, where are her poops???? I clean her enclosure (dump water in there, fill the water bowl, feed, check on plants, etc etc) quite often. How is it that I've never seen a poop?

From what I see, she hasn't made hard urates. this is a big maybe though, as when she pees, the urate slips through the substrate and is very hard to see. (it's just that a few days ago when she soaked i didn't see any urates. a week ago, it was soft like toothpaste.)

I soak a minimum of twice a week. I feel bad but I am not sure if I should wake her up to soak her. food pics below

My colleges are beginning to send back acceptance letters. I received my first rejection, and have yet to been accepted. Once I do, I will contact them about keeping a tortoise. I would like to request having enough room for an upgraded tortoise table, or simply getting rid of my bed or desk (i sleep on the floor and work on the floor anyway.) I can bring her out for walks across campus 😊 that way she won't have to stay inside if i don't manage to get an upgraded table.

I am really suspecting that she is eating them in the enclosure, that does happen with some tortoises.
