Easy Plant/Grass/food to grow

Hey guys what's an easy grass or food source to grow .. Something that doesn't require much attention too.

I'm a college student so I don't have time to tend to a garden.

Tortoise Supply sells packs of seeds. Sprinkle some in a pot full of soil, water it./ Place it by a window and it grows like crazy!

Really? Is it that easy?

So when it grows do I just pull it out & feed it to my tortoise?

Or do I place my tray in the tortoise pen?

Just cut off the leaves and feed. Usually it will keep growing and you can harvest it again and again. (As long as you don't pull up the roots.)

I've been reading so much. I realize that there are lots of different plants & weeds out there they can eat..

But what are your favorites to feed the tortoise?

That's why I suggested Tortoise Supply. They will sell you seeds that are preferred by your tortoise. It takes out the guess work and there is a large variety all mixed up. There are a zillion seeds even in their small bag and the price is very inexpensive. If I were to buy them seperately, I'd buy different types of greens and lettuces.

I've thought bout feeding my tortoise Timothy hay too..

There is hay in the dog house that they sleep in. They do occasionally eat some. Other species eat more. Mine are Red Foot.
