Edible?!?

:tort::D Hello! I just purchased at Giant Eagle, a container of flowers and on the front it says "Edible flowers" and the back say that you can put it in different recipes as extra flavor and such. I would assume that because we can eat them, they shouldn't be toxic to tortoises, but I figured it would be best to find out for sure! I would happily provide a list of type of flowers included but there isn't one its a random mix! Please Help!

In my opinion, if they are safe for human consumption, they are safe for tortoise consumption too.

I'm not sure, I hope you get help. I'm not very educated on the severity of a tort eating a few toxic plants. I wouldn't think that the would just drop over dead, but rather that over time with constant consumption it would effect the tort. I think it should be okay but if you want to be extra safe don't feed them.
