Hi , my female layed eggs about two months ago so we bought an incubator online and they are due to hatch tomorrow. We do not know if the eggs are fertile and i was wondering of there are any tell-tale signs of life in the eggs?

I've read some people pick them up & hold a flashlight threw the egg to see if they can see vains etc. not sure if there're due though. Maybe pick it up and see if its heavier and feel movement. Idk I'm still waiting on my rf to lay her first clutch so I'm no help.

You can leave them in place and hold a small flashlight up to them. If the whole egg is translucent and looks like its lit up from the inside, probably nothing going on. This will also appear clearish or sometimes slightly yellowish. If it looks dark in there, orangish or reddish, or if you can see red veins running along the inside surface of the egg, you've got a baby on the way.

EITHER WAY, just leave the eggs incubating. They might still hatch two months from now...
