Hello!

I’m sure this has been asked many times before but what type of soil (pictures are a bonus) are we replanting store bought plants into?

Iv read it’s best to wash the plant roots and replant into a pot and then place some substrate on top to keep tortoise out but wondering what’s the best safe soil others have used.

Thank you!

Look for organic soil without perlite, vermiculite, slow release fertilizers and other additives (if you place the pots within tortoise reach). I'm not in US, so can't tell you the exact brand.

Soil, marketed for use with reptiles, like ZooMed Reptisoil is safe for repotting plants too (it's more expensive but you don't need much).
