Galaxy far, far away...
I bought a temp gun and did some testing of the princess' enclosure. I took five sets of readings and then just averaged them. I took a reading at the level of the substrate in the four corners and in the center of the enclosure. The reading I took in the basking corner was taken on the basking rock itself. Temps can be seen in the attached image. Any feedback?

I keep my 100w MVB on for 12 hours from 7a to 7p.

The baseboard heat in this room runs along the wall beneath her enclosure. I believe this is helping to keep the flooring of her enclosure warm.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

This enclosure is used for 1 three year old leopard tortoise.

Thanks.

Rob

I think your temps are perfect! If the tortoise was still young I would suggest bumping up the temps and humidity, but yours is well along so even low 70's will be good for him.

I'll look through your posts, if you don't have any you should post some close ups of your tortoise and his shell, he looks really amazing.
