I am robin from india. I have a pair of indian star tortoise.

I tried my best for there indoor( if temp more than 32*c and outdoor( daily sun bath, soaking and feeding).

Bedding is left as i already ordered for organic soil and coco peat.

India getting reptile care accessories are very expensive and difficult to get, still managed.

Hey robin. Keeping G. elegans in India shouldn't be very difficult. You know that you live in the natural habitat of this species so actually you could keep them constantly in an outdoor enclosure. Otherwise if reptile accessories are to expensive you can take substrate maybe earth or dead leaves from outside maybe from a forest.

Thanks for the suggestion but no forest around. And coco peat is a good substrate?
