I'm so glad. Did you tell your neighbors son that the tort does not go outside? I hope so. But encourage him to play with your tort supervised.
So I have a Hermann's as well and last April it was a sunny day I put her outside in make shift pen and she got out and I did not find her until July . There where some cold nights between April and June She made it! So don't give up on her. If it is getting cold at night she could be Burling into the ground to stay warm. That was a year ago and she has no issue from it all . They are stuffed then we give them creditSo I have my first goof up on my hands. Neighbors son grabbed my Hermann's when I was talking to his dad and just sat it down yesterday around 4. I realized about 6 she was missing, but cant find her in the 1/2 acre fenced area. I blocked up any potential escape routes.
What's a good way to lure her out? I'm thinking of weed eating the entire yard except a patch in the middle hopefully with as many dandelions as possible. Any other tips? I've scoured the yard looking. The weather is cooling off a little this week, but I think she'll be good until I find her.
Well found deep under a big brush pile.
