My babies eyes finally opened we are outside while they are sun bathing today is there second day because we can only do it in weekend nd this Is there second day being in sun we r sooo excited !!!

He looks really dry to me for some reason. Could just be the pic... But are you soaking a couple times a day? Baby food soaks helped my baby sulcata when it couldn't open its eyes.

Yes!!! Scooby Doo!!! The soaks and carrot baby food must of worked, of course, the sunshine helped too. I'm so happy for you, and your baby looks sooooooo adoraaaaabe! I'm doing the happy dance. Thanks for sharing. Keep giving the baby 2 warm soaks a day. This will ensure he's getting the water and nourishments be needs. After he has his eyes open for a few days, and he's eating good, then one soak a day is good enough. I gave my babies 2-3 soaks a day because they needed the water.

Cute eyes....also, the warm soaks should be for no less than 30 minutes until he plumps up and is nice and juicy (plump and smooth skin around the neck and legs)....

Hot and humid = healthy and happy + plump and juicy. I like the plump and juicy for baby tortoises, Angela! LOL. : )
