I have a young Russian Tortoise and I was trying to see if I could add any fake plants to pretty up his enclosure but I’m scared he’ll try to eat them. I’ve tried sprouts and other edible plants but he tears them up. Would it be safe to use some kind of fake plant? Or should I avoid all types cause it’s not worth it?

You can try it. Some will try to eat them, others won't.
You can also put real plants in pots and put the pot in the enclosure. Just make sure the pot can't tip over on him.

All of my tortoises always try to eat them.
