We have two kinds of weeds coming up in mass in an area that we cleared for our son's home. Our tortoise (Sulcata) wants desperately to eat them both. I've been researching and can't find anything about the safety of letting him chow down on these.
I'm 98% sure that these are richardia brasiliensis gomes and false daisy, but I'll post pictures here to see if anyone is more familiar.
I have to give credit to our tortoise that he does an excellent job avoiding things that aren't good for him while he's out foraging. I know this because I spend a ridiculous amount of time identifying the thousands of weeds that grow on our property. Even so, I'd feel better if someone can say for sure they're safe before I let him have at it.
