Is it possible to create something where we could save our favorite threads? I am always looking through the archives and when I find something that interests me but then get side tracked and have to walk away from the computer it's sometimes a little difficult to find the thread again.

This is a brilliant idea! I find myself doing the same thing. If you don't get everything exactly right, the searches come up with nothing.

I too wish we had something like this. Great suggestion!

I have Windows XP on my computer and I use Firefox as my browser, and there is a button at the top of my screen entitled "bookmarks." When I find something that I want to refer back to (like the birthday graphics, or pictures of Ed's tortoises), I simply "bookmark" it.

I also bookmark things I like or most of you might have something called favorites...with a little heart on top...so you could put it in there.

Ya, I guess I could just use my browser bookmark. I just thought something like that that we could access on our user cp would be a little more convenient. My browser bookmark file is already overloaded, if I started bookmarking my favorite threads it would just add to the clutter.

Neal, go into your browser bookmark, click where it says "Organize" and make yourself a TFO folder. Then when you bookmark TFO threads, you can put them all in that folder.

You can organize your other bookmarks into folders as well, for easier access.

I use Mozilla Firefox and it has a great feature that you can look up recently closed pages, so if I accidentally close something, I can easily find it again (or look in my browser history). I do like the idea of having TF save threads we've marked though. For some reason I seem to have trouble with the search on the forum such that even if I put in keywords I know were in the thread, I don't find it.
