I forget if I posted this before... Forgive if so. But I took this earlier in the fall. I was building up leaf piles for isulation over the hibernation hides. 2 of the 4 boxies just refused to start hibernation as early as the others and each day I would go out and see who was still 'awake' and who was hibernating. In all the leaves, it could be pretty hard to spot them. They are now all hibernating with mounds of composting leaves above their hides to keep them warm (we had a nasty cold snap a week or 2 ago - into the teens for a week).
