Hi everyone! My leo's habitat was too hot under his heat source on top of his carapace so I lowered the wattage on his daytime incandescent bulb. But now its too dim in there. I know not to use a spiral uva/b bulb thanks to y'all but can I use a spiral regular florescent bulb that has the glass over it to make it look like a regular incandescent bulb to brighten his home up? He's outside a lot so I don't use a special uva bulb at all. Murphy started to pyramid and the only thing I can think contributed to it was sitting under too hot a heat source.

And yes, he's been raised very humid his whole 18 months of life. Cause I know that question be asked :) The post by Elohi abt Bean's pyramiding helped greatly which is why I lowered his heat wattage awhile ago and he's sorta smoothing out, I hope. I just now don't want the lil guy to live in perpetual twilight. I shut the blinds now to keep it cooler in the house so its darker for him now. When I'm worried I ramble sorry. I just want him healthy and happy

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure for the sake of his eyes. Because he's very good at giving me the stink eye :)

And here is "the look". I get that look every morning when I wake him although he had just eaten some calcium in that pic so he had been awake.
