I tried getting some good shots of the Hingebacks, but they do not co-operate. They never seem to move, when the camera is ready, lol. This is Homer. I've had Homer and Maude for a little over a year. I brought home the new male, last night. He still needs a name and a girlfriend

Did you keep the new tort separate from Homer and Maude? Just to be safe, you know.

Thanks for the compliments. I did end up setting the new Hingeback up in his own 120 gal, for now. He is a LTC of 2 yrs from a friend of mine, so I am sure he is clean. I will try and find him a LTC Female, so I have 2 pairs. I would love to breed this species and see what the captive born personalities end up being.

Homers says "Thanks: He and Maude are both about 6.5". They were both wild-caught adults, but they have acclimated well over the last year.

Lol, yes they love to lay around and soak their toes, poolside! Sometimes I wonder if they are actually my pets, or if I have become theirs!
