I'm sure someone has already asked about this but unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything on the subject.
I just recently designated an area in my new back yard for my little Boris to get some sun and adventure in, the only problem being that there are fox tails in the grass of that area. So bottom line I was wondering, since I know fox tails are known to cause discomfort in dogs and cats, if the same issue, or any issue for that matter could happen to my tortoise. So far he hasn't shown any interest in them but I want to know for sure that they are going to cause any problems. Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks in advance :)

The seeds can and will get stuck in any soft tissue or eyes on the tortoise. He can eat the foxtail grass before it goes to seed, but in my opinion, allowing him in there after its gone to seed would be like an accident waiting to happen.
