The wife gave the OK to enclose another area in the back yard for my CDT's. This is in the south east corner of the yard, the Russians are in the south west corner.
Both pens have 2X6 top rail that serves 2 purposes, 1) keep the torts in with a lip on the inside 2) a place to sit and watch them. This pen in next to the pond and the "sitting rail" works great for watching the sliders in the pond.
Total area is a about 200sqft. Top of fence is 17" and the pickets are set in the ground about 3-4"
This is the current home for the CDT's and they will not have full run this year. Ill re-evaluate in the spring weather they are big enough for ME to feel comfortable with them having that much room to hide.
Feel free to ask questions.
