Hello again friends sorry for the delay in posting its been a very busy last couple of days! So as some of you know Gaia had been suffering from a huge bladder stone formation in the right lobe of her bladder, but here and now I'm very happy to report she is now stone free! Thursday morning around 10:45am we were able to remove the stone in its entirety and actually found 3 small stones that had been forming around it. Recovery has been so far so good, she received a long acting injectable antibiotic before surgery and is maintaining well with anti inflammatories and pain medication. She eating on her own but we're supplement feeding still through her esophageal tube. All in all the stone weighed over 10% of her body weight!! I will of course keep you all updated as recovery continues but for now heres some pictures of pre-op, surgery and post care, once I figure out how to post videos I will do that as well. Of course if you have any questions feel free to ask!
