Gender for my Cherryhead

Hi guys!

I was wondering if you guys could tell Simba’s gender by these photos? He/she is a Cherryhead redfoot tortoise. It’s probably still too early to tell but the shell length is about 6 inches right now.

I say male. Looks a nice size tort.

Still to small to be certain, but my guess would be a male. If it’s a male he should be starting to flash while getting soaked soon. Redfoots/ cherries are one of the few species where females can have a bit of a longer tail. I have a couple large egg laying cherry females that don’t have the typical short stubby tail.

Still pretty small but looking to be male. That tail should probably double in size in the next year if so.
