I have never posted a link to my full website here on the forum. I am going to do that now :) I am a bit scared of critisicm, and I hope that any that I receive will be constructive. I really want opinions on my material, but I am not out to be bashed. Not that I think that I have published anything that is bash-worthy... Although, worthy of disagreement, I will concede. Nobody agrees 100% with another keeper, in my experience.

Here goes the rodeo... http://tortnet.darchorizons.com/index.html

Otherwise know as Kyryah's Tortoise Network

I think your web site is very good. Plenty of good info. One thing to keep in mind is when you link to other web sites, you should check those links occasionally to make sure they still work. Nothing is more irritating than chasing a broken link. I read a few articles also and learned a couple new things, so thanks for the education too!

Good luck with your rescue program - I hope it is overwhelmingly successful. :)

Thanks :) I do check periodically to make sure that inks are active, because like you, I find that to be completely irritating.

My website was hosted on Geocities for 14 years. An online friend gave me 50 MB on his server to use recently, so I moved the entire thing. It allowed me to do a complete overhaul, and totally change the look of the entire site, since now I can use FTP upload and create using CSS. I was afraid that moving would affect my daily hit count, but, I left the old site there, and everything is redirected to the new site. I am actually getting a LOT more hits than I was before.

The rescue has been going really well. Just this past week I have helped rehome 3 torts, and an Ornate Nile Monitor. I also recieved a Spiny Tail iguana that I am keeping for my educational program. A "look don't touch" type presentation, lol. He is one nasty customer.

I forgot to mention, when I was asking for pictures here awhile back, this is where they went.
