Grass identification?

Couple of years ago I planted some pasture grass seeds that was supposed to be a mixed variety for Sulcata. Today, this is all I have in that area. And I'm not entirely sure it is even grass- but my sully seems to love it and always heads for it when he's out of his enclosure.

Wanted to verify it is safe to eat before allowing him to eat more. I spent a couple hours trying to identify it but couldn't be sure.

Thanks!!

I have some edvice me personally have no clue what those are but I also now that most plants are safe for tortoises but I would not feed them to your tortoise because if you aren’t 100 percent on what they are don’t feed it to them it could harm them and have long time effects on them just keep asking questions on different threads and story pages and soon someone might be able to figure it out but don’t feed it to them for the time being just to be safe 🙃

I've observed that plants go crazy and grow larger and faster than "normal" in your fantastic GA soil and with your rain, warmth and humidity. That sure looks like St. Augustine grass to me, only much larger and more robust than how it grows here in my harsh hot and cold dry climate.

If it is St. Augustine it is safe and a great tortoise food.
