Gunk

hey ya all :) oright got a wee quick question here:p
ok so my female :tort: seems to be getting "gunk" ( looks like white goo)
in the corner of her eye. she has been like this since i bought her is there anything i can do to stop this?

Pictures might help but is it possible the enclosure is dusty? Dry substrates may produce dust that could irritate eyes and nose mucosal membranes leading to the discharge you are seeing.

nope it aint dusty, shes had it since i first got her

ps i clean my enclosure:D

I would get some antibiotic eye ointment. It won't hurt, and just might help.

In the UIS, they sell Terramycin Antibiotic ointment. Make sure it is Opthalmic ointment. You should be able to get it from feed store, pharmacy, veterinarians.

I second the Terramycin Opthalmic ointment. It's always good to have a tube on hand just in case :)
