Hand feed?

I haven't seen my turtle eat for a while and he is still really small. As small as when i got him which was a few months ago. Should I hand feed him to make sure he eats? He is a baby stinkpot turtle.

If so, sure. It can't hurt.

He eats it if I really shove it in his face.

Not a worm yet... I have offered very very small crayfish and a few isopods
