Happy/healthy

I adopted a sully on Friday. I've been feeding him a variety of plants and keeping fresh water. His home is dirt with edible plant planted in it. He appears to sleep, lay around, and eat a little all day. How can I tell if he is happy and healthy?

Here is his home. The plants are Gazania (sp?). Let me know what you think.
