I have a three toed box turtle that is pretty shy and I havent seen him eat lately though I did see him swimming in the pond a couple days ago.
I have a couple questions about him. First is his shell isnt round and smooth, its almost like reverse pyramiding where the center of the scutes are indented a bit. She has always been that way and I thought it maybe because she was young but even though she has grown a bit it hasnt smoothed over at all. Is this normal?
Next is I am going to dig her up and bath her then feed her in a seperate container away from the other 4 turtles. Is phoenix worms, earthworms, mealworms, superworms in one bowl and finele minced: kiwi, lettuce, collard greens, bell pepper, and carrots good enough? Both bowls will be dusted in miner-all.
