Healthy enclosure decor

Hi! Recently purchased a baby horsefield tortoise named Walter, i’m a first time owner and am hoping i can get some advice on what decor i can put in his enclosure to keep him active and happy what things should i avoid and what should i lean towards, any help would be appreciated!

Russian torts are known to be escape artists, they naturally try to escape. It could also be because his enclosure is too small, how big is it?

It won’t be sufficient for his whole life. When he’s older he will need an 8ft by 4ft enclosure, but this will suffice for his younger years. For tort enclosures the bigger the better.
