I've a question on the shell of my redfoot. He's born (as far as I know) in September 2013, so a few months over a year old. I think he's a bit small for his age, so maybe he is a bit younger or had a slow start... I've had him for a couple of weeks now, and I'm wondering whether his shell looks normal to you.
On his belly he has some dark spots and it's not smooth but a bit bumpy (see first 3 pictures). If I press it gives a bit, not like spongy but more like firm plastic.
The other two pictures are to give you an impression how he looks right side up
He eats, poops, sleeps and walks around like a healthy tortoise (as far as I know as a newbie of course).

What do you think?
