Hi

I am hopefully getting an 8 month old greek hatchling next week. I have been told he is 56mm and weighs 50g. Is this a about right for his age?

I don't know. I only started weighing my torts two days ago. My 7-8 month old Red Foot is 80.4 grams. But because of our climate here, I think that the growth is above normal..Just my guess. Someone much more knowledgeable in Greeks will be along, once everyone wakes up. Welcome.

Welcome to TFO! :D
I don't weigh any of my turtle or torts. I know there are MANY good reasons to do so, but I haven't started practicing that :( 2'' (aka56mm) (maybe just to me too) sounds a wee bit smallish for 8months?
