Hello all,
I have recently become the owner of a tortoise. He was my great auntys who sadly died and I have inherited him. I have grown up with him, I say "he" he is actually a girl because he occasionally lays eggs but I am so used to saying "he".
All I know is that he is at least 60 years, but not sure of an exact age.
I hope to have inserted a picture of "Tom" or "Tomasina" as he is now known!

Hi Emerthy3008:

Its a little hard to see because the picture is so small.

Welcome to the forum!! We'll be happy to answer any and all questions. Congrats on inheriting the tortoise. I'm sure you're going to get a lot of enjoyment out of her.

Welcome to the forum :)

Looks like a Eastern Hermanns tortoise to me, Testudo hermanni boettgeri. But close up pictures of the top shell (carapace) and bottom shell (plastron) will tell for sure. :)
