Hello all,

I've got plenty of this flower growing in my front yard. I looked through the photos on TTT but couldn't find one matching it. Anyone know what it is and whether it is safe for me to feed my sulcatas? They are kept in the back yard and haven't been exposed to this yet. Thanks.

The flower looks like an African daisy, however, the leaves don't. Let's send a shout-out to @Iochroma

Yes, one of the African daisies, in this case a "Cape daisy" - Osteospermum. Not known to have caused poisonings, but likely to have the same toxic compounds as its close relatives, Dimorphotheca. I would avoid allowing animals to eat this.

Yvonne, thanks for the welcome.

Iochroma, thanks for the info. I googled "cape daisy" and the photos that show up are definitely it.

Good thing I resisted the urge to give them a taste =).
