I’ve always thought that I had a hermann’s tortoise, that’s what they told me in the pet store and that’s what it says in my EU travel documents. Although now after sharing images of him on reddit I’ve gotten comments that it’s a russian tortoise instead. Can you help identifying him?
Definitely a Russian tortoise! Care is relatively the same.
I wouldn’t use hay as your substrate, it’s very prone to mould and Russians aren’t actually grass eaters
