Help - tortoise housing

Hi,

I currently have a 3 year old Herman's tortoise who has both an indoor and outdoor enclosure. I am unfortunately having to move to a flat which only has a roof garden so won't be able to put him outside that often.

Will he be OK to live indoors in his table?

I will be devastated if I have to re-home him.

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

If you provide him with a UVB light...a GOOD UVB light, it should be ok.

What would you like us to call you?

...and may we know appx. where in the world you are?

Ditto....and if your indoor enclosure is large enough he should be able to adjust with the less frequent outdoor romps....
