Help with identification please!

my girlfriends family have had this tortoise for about 15 years now and we dont know much about him - was wondering if anyone can identify him for us and tell us anything about him?

sorry for the poor quality of the photos - i dont have a very good camera

that's a box turtle not a tortoise. And a nice one

It's an Asian box turtle.... Cuora amboinensis if memory serves me right and I didn't totally misspell it.

thank you both!! finally we know what he is! the reason we thought tortoise rather than turtle is that he hates being in or even near water!

also, he often wees when we pick him up - is this something to be worried about??
