Help with plants!

Hi I am new to the forum and I was wondering if you could help me out. I have a Estern Hermann Tortoise around one years old and I dont know if I should get some plants for her cage. Can you please let me know if there is a special brand I should get. I was thinking about getting some fake plants but im worried Charlie will eat them, so should I go with real? I would really appreciate your advice. Charlie

All tortoise's have an exceptional sense of smell, and in some cases, can even detect toxic plants for them (wouldn't rely on that alone, though!). If you give your tortoise a fake plant, I'd consider the chance of her eating it extremely low to none, the extremely low should you accidentally put food near it and she bites it accidentally. So basically, don't worry about it.
