Can anyone tell from these pics if my my two hermanns tortoises are eastern or western hermanns?

Hi Gemma,
Your going to need to post plastron pictures of both of them for us to be able to tell you subspecies.

Hi, Gemma, you definitely do not have western hermann's they are either easterns (Testudo hermanni boettgeri) or the dalmatian hermann's (Testudo hermanni hercegovinensis) and as Dan said, a plastron shot will tell for sure.
