I'm Rachel from the UK.

I'm new to the forum. Have been reading for quite a while though. Esp loved reading Toms sulcata thread.

I'm currently doing my research and hoping to buy or adopt a leopard tortoise in the spring

Hi and welcome! What is it about the leopard that is drawing you?

I can't put my finger on it to be honest. Something just seems to be drawing me to a leopard. Every time I picture myself having a tortoise, I see a little leopard! I love how big they can get and also that they can happily live outside given the right housing.

We have a section of our garden that we can adapt to make an enclosure.

Caring for one properly is all still a jumbled up mess in my head at the moment, but it's slowly starting to become clearer

Welcome to the forum. We're all a pretty friendly lot you'll soon learn. To help declutter and organize your learning of tortoises, ask questions. If you post your queries in the leopard tortoise section, some of the more successful Leo keepers will be happy to answer them for you. Well done you, doing the research first, and not doing the unplanned purchase. I already have respect for you from that one decision.
