I am a new member and have joined because I have "inherited" a young red foot tortoise. He belongs to my son who has joined the navy and I have been left with the tortoise, (and a dog!) He is about 2 and a half years old and recently started being very awake and active but now he has has slowed right down and seems to sleep all day. Is this normal? We live in Wales (United Kingdom) We have just re housed him as he had grown too big for his previous home.
