im putting my russian tortoise into the fridge today. i need help with knowing how much substrate i need to put in, what depth? enough for it to cover or just for them to dig. any help will be appreciated, thank you

Hello! As far as I read, few inches is enough and no need to cover them completely.

Its not critical. 3-4 inches is plenty. 6-8 inches isn't too much.
