I have 2 desert tortoises that are in hibernation and I am unsure of when they should be or when I should bring them out. Is it better to let them come out on their own.

Hi and welcome!!
I think you are supposed
to let them come out on their
own. I am sure if I am wrong,
someone will let you know. :)
You should be getting some

Im not sure where you are located but when it starts to warm up in March or April they will probably come out. Someone with more experience in this area will probably be along soon:D

Where in the world are you located? Are they brumating indoors or outdoors? How old are they? How long have you had them? Have they brumated before?

Oh yeah.... :D

I usually allow my hibernators to stay inside their boxes until I hear them scratching around in there. Then I bring them out, soak them and place them outside in their safe and dry outside houses. When they're ready to come outside, they can do so in their own time.
