How much is too much?

Hey Eveybody! I have a Russian Tortoise and I’m still stumped on how much I should be feeding him? The internet says about only 4 days for out of a week but why not everyday? Any advice would be helpful. Also the pet store I bought him from said he is about a year old.

You should always have food available, they will eat it and pick at it whenever they want.
p.s. dont always trust the internet ?
