IS a large half log acceptable to use as a humid hide? I will be putting terranium moss inside of it, I like the looks of the log rather then the plastic ones, just want to make sure it will work just as good :)
Thanks

This is also something I'm looking into after trying a plastic one and him toppling over inside it's back to thinking of other things!

I'm thinking as long as humidity levels are where they should be we should be okay, but just looking for another opinion

It should work. However it may dry out fast. It won't hurt to try. If it does dry out fast, I would try soaking the log and then placing wet moss under it. Or you could also close up one end. I have used it, but I also have a humidifier in my enclosure.
