i do everything Tom said in his thread.
the good news are my sully is a super active tort and has so much energy to play around :)

Your little one is cuuuuuuute!

Do you know how your baby was started as a hatchling? In a hot and humid environment or in a hot and dry environment? If your baby was started dry, you may be fighting pre-existing pyramiding. What are your temps in your little one's enclosure?

I see some smooth growth happening...perhaps the little one had a raised scute or two before living with you...also, all of the other things you outlined are so much more important (healthy behavior and appetite) than a glass smooth dome....yes, a smooth dome is good but it is not the tell all of a healthy tort...

Cut yourself some slack. Keep up what you are doing and slow your satisfaction needs to tortoise speed :D Remember, we humans want instant satisfaction...the tortoise does not do instant...

Beautiful little tort by the way...

I agree with Angela. Your baby is adorable. Just keep doing what you have been doing and when it gets older you won't notice those ridges. They'll just be a reminder of how far you have come.

My Sulcata started also like yours. Dry, small glass aquarium, UVA light only all day. We kept him hot and humid as much as we can.

Your little one is much better then mine. I thing you are doing everything right.

Just keep up,the correct housing and when he is older, you won't even know he was ever so slightly pyramided. He's such a cutie.
